Graham Parker studied at Swansea College of Art, qualifying as a Special Art Teacher. He returned to university as a mature student, graduating with a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art. Graham was appointed joint artist-in-residence for Arts & Humanities Research Council & Arts Council Wales funded ‘Future memory in Place Project’ at National Waterfront Museum 2014 and was co-founder of the 15 Hundred Lives Contemporary Art Collective. He was chosen for the Arts & Business Cymru ‘Individual Award’ for “an outstanding contribution to an arts through the Professional Artist’s Programme”. Graham is now a professional artist now working from his studio in Elysium Artist’s Studios on Mansel Street ,Swansea.

Graham Parker has won first prize in the Queen Street Gallery OPEN 21 Competition. An exhibition of the winners and selected artist’s work will be shown in the gallery from 2nd – 28th August 2021. As winner of the competition, Graham will have a solo exhibition in the gallery in 2022.read more
